Help Virginia Children’s Chorus prepare for the future through our Leadership Legacy Fund!

The focus of our Give Local 757 giving campaign for 2026 is to support a portion of the salary of the VCC Executive Director position into the future.  Throughout our 34-year history, VCC has worked to keep the artistic salaries we pay at a competitive level for the Hampton Roads area. Help us build a sustainable future through our Leadership Legacy Fund for our Executive Director position and pay a more competitive salary for this important position. This will help us: 1) attract the best candidates now and, 2) create stability for the future.

Our choirs are each aiming to raise $2,500 during this exciting “Give Local 757” Day of Giving—and we want the Choristers to come out on top! By donating through our page, you’re helping us lead the way. The Choristers bring incredible energy, talent, and heart to every rehearsal and performance, and your support fuels everything we do!

Donations can be made beginning now and will end with the annual 24-hour “Give Local 757” day on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 from 12 a.m. to 12 p.m. If we get the most donations, each student in Choristers will win an individual prize and we will be recognized at our Celebration of Song concert on Saturday, May 9th. In addition, one of the winning choir’s donors will receive a special opportunity to send a greeting to a person of their choice via a special song sung by this choir.

This drawing will be done in June 2026 and the song, agreed upon by the winner and our Choir Director, will be recorded and delivered during our 35th anniversary season in 2026-2027.
