Month of the Military Child Fun Run

To celebrate the Month of the Military Child, ASYMCAHR is excited to host a “Fun Run” for our kids on the playground track on the afternoon of Thursday, April 23, 2026. 

Races will stagger throughout the day to ensure every child has a chance to participate and shine. Families play such an important role in supporting our young runners, and parents are warmly invited and encouraged to attend and cheer on their favorite runner. It promises to be a fun, energetic, and spirit-filled event celebrating the resilience and strength of our military children.

Leading up to the event, students will have the opportunity to participate in our Give Local 757 campaign to help raise funds in support of ASYMCAHR programs. To contribute, simply click on the “donate” button to begin your gift. In the “Dedicated to” field, select “in honor of” from the dropdown menu and enter your child’s name before proceeding to checkout. 

The student who raises the most funds will earn a very special treat to share with their friends in the Pre-K and Before & After programs, adding an extra layer of excitement and community spirit to this meaningful effort.

This fundraiser is part of Give Local #757, and ASYMCAHR's overall goal is simple: To ensure no military family in our community feels unsupported or alone.
