The Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board (H-NNCSB) is celebrating 55 years of service to our community! While many of our neighbors and family members face battles with mental illness, substance use, and developmental disabilities in silence due to stigma, the H-NNCSB has been a steady lifeline. With in 5 adults impacted annually, most of us know someone who is affected by a behavioral health condition. The H-NNCSB offers guidance, support, and solutions.

We serve over 10,000 individuals annually, including:

  • Families in Crisis — Helping parents and children navigate the opioid epidemic and other addictions.
  • Unhoused Individuals — Providing stability, services and housing to those with serious mental illnesses.
  • Expectant Mothers — Supporting pregnant women on the path to recovery.
  • Youth — Equipping students with the tools to prevent addictive behaviors and the strength to face life’s challenges.
  • The Elderly — Assisting with resources for older adults living with behavioral health issues.

With the support of the Give Local 757 donations, we look forward to doing even greater things for the community and the people we serve!
