$3,600 Goal

Learning music in choir, band, or orchestra at home is difficult to impossible for most families.

YMV recognizes a need for group and private music instruction for homeschooled students.  We consider music as a gift from God that should be accessible to ALL students. Parents homeschool for many different reasons, but often when finding the right fit for their child they discover that they no longer have access to the same opportunities. Our desire is to help each child reach his or her full potential, and we firmly believe in the universal applicability of music education as a tool that strengthens a person's skills and abilities in every academic subject as well as interpersonal relationships because of the mental processes, group coordination and cooperation, and kinesthetic skills it teaches. Over three and half decades YMV has expanded into a homeschool enrichment program offering professionally-taught classes, not only in music, but also academics and other fine arts, to K-12 students. We teach leadership development and community engagement, seeking to share the gift of music with our community at large.

We always strive to make our program affordable for every student. We offer multiple scholarship opportunities and volunteer discounts. Your donation will help us continue to provide a quality program that produces capable students willing to engage with others in a healthy, wholesome way.
