At Rebuilding Together of Hampton Roads, we believe everyone deserves to live in a safe and healthy home, but for many of our neighbors, that’s not their reality.
Every day, we meet veterans, seniors, and families living in unsafe conditions: leaking roofs, failing floors, and barriers that make it hard to simply move through their own homes. These aren’t just houses in need of repair, they’re people in need of stability, dignity, and peace of mind.
Thanks to the power of volunteers and community support, we’re changing that, one home at a time.
If you’ve seen the 13News Now video posted above from our National Rebuilding Day coverage, you’ve witnessed the transformation firsthand. Homes restored. Lives uplifted. Communities strengthened. But the need continues, and we can’t do it without you.
Today, we’re asking our board members and the people who stand beside you, your friends, your families, your networks, to help us reach an important milestone.
We’re working to raise $2,000 by midnight on May 4th. Reaching this goal not only fuels critical home repairs, but it also enters us to win two additional $757 prizes through Give Local 757, stretching your impact even further.
This is a moment where 100% board participation can make all the difference. Your gift, at any level, signals leadership, commitment, and belief in our mission. And when your network sees you give, they’re inspired to join you.
A gift today helps ensure:
- A veteran can safely enter their home
- A senior can age in place with dignity
- A family can live without fear of preventable hazards
We already have the volunteers. We have the projects. What we need now is you.
Let’s come together, lead by example, and show Hampton Roads what’s possible when a community steps up.
Make your gift today and help us unlock even more impact before the clock runs out.
