Golden Infinity Advocacy (GIA)

Meet Willow (she/her) and Stephanie (they/them, but anything goes) - the self-advocacy power couple of Hope House Foundation! Stephanie is supported by Bison Team. Willow is supported by Seaside Team. The two often visit each other's apartments.

They both form a united front to advocate for an end to the marriage penalty associated with disability benefits. Stephanie personally advocates for putting an end to guardianships and conservatorships in favor of supported decision-making. When these lovely ladies aren't busy advocating, you can probably find the two training at Park's Taekwondo Academy or winning with Special Olympics Area 2. In addition, Willow is currently studying at SNHU Online for her political science degree. Stephanie has a bachelor's degree in communications, but is hoping to study Korean language and culture online at OSU for a professional credential.

Their shared goals include getting legally married in a few years' time, becoming the first openly neurodivergent grandmasters in World Taekwondo, and overall showing the world what happens when individuals with developmental disabilities are given autonomy to live as they see fit.
