Anyone who knows me now knows about Chessie. She came home as a foster seven years ago, and everyone (including me) knew she was staying. She’s my current golden but there were three before her, Allie, the one that made me decide to join the rescue and two – Bear and Mandy – adopted from SEVA GRREAT in 2007.
Besides the ‘loves’ of my life, there are many reasons I support SEVA GRREAT. There is something about working with this organization that really touches my heart. It is certainly all the dogs that have gotten second chances, including my own, but it is also the passionate people that make up the SEVA GRREAT community. All the volunteers who give so many hours so that these beautiful dogs can live happy and healthy lives in their forever homes.
The rescue celebrated 35 years in 2025. I want that work to continue for another 35 years. Please donate to Give Local 757 on Tuesday, May 5, and let us continue the work we love. Thank you!
