It all started with 10 pinwheel gardens ----- there are now over 100. With your generous donation there will be even more pinwheel gardens spreading hope of a bright future for every child.
Healthy Families Partnership, Inc. partners with local organizations, schools, churches, businesses and agencies to sponsor "Pinwheels for Prevention" across the city. Shining in the sun, the blue pinwheels call attention to the issue of child abuse and focus on abuse prevention resources. They represent a bright future for our children and our community.
Sadly, during the last reporting year, Virginia Child Protective Services showed 53,440 cases of reported child abuse and 2905 founded cases of child abuse statewide. We need to do all we can to protect and improve the life of every child. There are more children to protect and with your help that will happen!
