Bane-DeCosta Scholarship

Since Spring 2017, the line brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. have stepped up whenever a young man in Hampton Roads needed support—passing the hat, meeting the moment, and starting over each time. Eventually, we realized we could do more.

By setting aside a portion of what we collected, we created the Bane‑DeCosta Scholarship: a fund that meets immediate needs, supports mentorship through Guide Right, and grows steadily in the background to serve future generations.

This approach changed everything. More consistency. More planning. More impact. A stronger foundation for the young men we serve.
