Hello family and friends, 

As many of you know, I am a product of McRae, Georgia. I grew up in a single parent household and never dreamed of going to college. But God sent me a Kappa mentor, Stanley T. Hobbs. ST as we call him, who pulled me from the block and promised he would get me into college. I just had to be willing to put in the work. Four years later I was a graduate from Albany State College/University and a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

After a few years of teaching and coaching at my high school, I joined the Army and stayed nearly 27 years. I served another 11 plus years as a DA civilian to continue developing and managing careers of Army Transportation Soldiers. Throughout my near 38-year journey around the Army, I stayed involved with Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity’s Guide Right Programs both with my time and treasure. I am forever grateful for my journey and committed to helping our youth, especially those like me who never dreamed of going to college or joining the Army. For over 47 years as an active Kappa man, having supported the youth programs in four of the provinces (regions) of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, I support this organization’s mission, and I want it to continue to have a profound impact on our community.
