Giving Back to the CCC

I first walked through the doors of the Colley Community Center about a year ago for something simple—an arts and crafts event. I didn’t expect much beyond a fun afternoon, but what I found was something far more meaningful: a space where I felt seen, welcomed, and like I truly belonged.

That feeling stayed with me. It’s what inspired me to join the board, and now become board President and it’s what continues to drive my commitment to this organization every day. The Colley Community Center isn’t just a building—it’s a place where connections are made, creativity is nurtured, and people of all ages can come together and feel at home.

Through programs, workshops, and community events, we create opportunities for joy, growth, and support. Whether it’s a child discovering a new passion, a neighbor finding friendship, or someone simply having a safe place to be themselves—this center makes those moments possible.
