Chartered in 1991, the Virginia Peninsula Chapter of the 100 Black Men of America, Inc. remains committed to making a difference in the lives of young people with an emphasis on young African Americans. Our core mission is mentoring, and our “Mentoring the 100 Way Program” involves approximately 60 youth per year who are both males and females between the ages of 8-18 years old. We provide scholarships annually to area college bound high school seniors. Other chapter programs include Camp Esteem, Community Health Symposiums, Free Men's Health Screening, Effective Parenting Classes and Adopt-A-Spot. We also recognize community members for their outstanding contributions by naming a Role Model of the Year, a Humanitarian Award winner and a Trailblazer Award winner at our Annual Gala. We have NO paid staff and ALL contributions go directly to assisting our youth and our community. WE THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
