About Us
New Vision Youth Services, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that offers support services to disadvantaged youth and young adults in the Hampton Roads region. NVYS was developed in direct response to the regional and national study of disadvantaged youth falling through the cracks entering and aging out of the foster care system without family support. Current statistics show these youth are more than twice as likely as non-foster care youth to drop out of high school, in which 1 in 5 will become homeless in the state of Virginia.
