Cheers to 20 Years of SpiritWorks 

This year has been all about GRATITUDE as we celebrated our 20th Anniversary! It’s hard to believe that we’ve been part of the hearts and souls of our community for two decades. All that we have done is in great part, due to your support throughout the years. We thank you sincerely AND we hope we can continue to share this journey with you as we begin a new chapter. 

As we close out this year of immense gratitude, we look forward to new beginnings and a new focus. Our 2026 initiatives are all about LOVE! We believe it is LOVE that will allow individuals, families, communities and the world to heal. 

Healing, hope & LOVE dominate our new initiatives. Here is a sneak peek:

• We will welcome you to join us for an enlightening experience with the Reconciliation Labyrinth, a sacred space designed for reflection, healing, and community engagement.  This initiative—led by the Community of St. Monica's at SpiritWorks—encourages individuals to explore their inner landscapes while fostering connections with others. Together, we will navigate the complexities of our shared histories, confronting the legacies of addiction, oppression, and trauma, and ultimately moving towards understanding and unity. Save the date that works for you: January 3, 2026, at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, or January 4, 2026, at Bruton Parish Church.  Details to follow;
• We are thrilled to announce that we will host: The Love Principles a Practical Way of Being: A Weekend with author, Arleen Lorrance Join us for an inspiring weekend as we welcome Arleen Lorrance, the originator of the powerful quote "Be the Change" and visionary behind The Love Principles, to Williamsburg!  There will be a Meet the Author Book Signing Event on Saturday Jan 24th and a Workshop on January 25th. Details coming soon in the SpiritWorks newsletter and on our FB page; and,
• We will promote healthy healing in our Nourishing Recovery cookbook!  We hope you will help us with this project throughout the coming year as we gather recipes, stories of hope & healing and artwork to decorate the covers and section dividers!

Help us wrap up our celebration of 20 years of SpiritWorks supporting individuals, families, and communities on their journey from addiction to recovery and beyond. We know that LOVE is the secret to healing. Won’t you help us explore the principles of LOVE so that we might heal, we might help others heal and as a result, we might watch our community heal?
