Gloria Dei Lutheran School

Gloria Dei Lutheran School is a dedicated response to Christ’s words: “Let the little children come to Me” and “As you have done it to the least of these, you have done it unto Me.” Our ministry is both an expression of God’s loving care and a model of how education and child care can be faithfully and thoughtfully provided. As Christians, we strive to be Christ’s hands, minds, voices, and hearts in the world.

We consider every child who enters our doors a sacred trust. Parents place their children in our care with the confidence that we will reflect who we claim to be—the people of God—serving with sensitivity, compassion, creativity, and unwavering faithfulness.

Our guiding philosophy is to nurture the natural excitement for learning that children inherently possess. We believe a child’s development encompasses educational, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual growth, and each of these areas deserves intentional and thoughtful support.

To meet these needs, we provide a Christ-centered learning environment led by teachers who embrace both the joy of teaching and the joy of learning alongside their students. Our teachers are called to recognize each child’s “growing edges,” encouraging progress without pressure and offering positive reinforcement that helps students become the best versions of themselves.

We pursue this goal by offering an educational setting and high-quality materials that exceed typical standards—always grounded in our commitment to excellence.

The New Testament uses the Greek word Diakonia to describe the mission of the Church as service. By combining clearly defined goals, proven learning programs, and an atmosphere of Christian love and acceptance, Gloria Dei Lutheran School strives to live out this call to service in God’s world.
