More Laughing Arts & Media

More Laughing Arts & Media (MLAM) is a youth development program in Hampton Roads, VA that uses art and media to help C.O.O.L. K.I.D.S. build confidence, communication, and leadership skills in a fun, high-energy, and creative environment. Our students are C.O.O.L. K.I.D.S. because they are Creative Observant Original Leaders with Kindness Integrity Determination and Smarts.

We don’t just teach C.O.O.L. K.I.D.S. to perform—we teach them how to express themselves, connect with others, and lead with their voice.

Through programs like our seasonal camps and after school workshops, students explore creative tracks such as comedy, acting, dance, media production, journalism, and visual arts. Each experience builds toward a real outcome—whether it’s a live performance, a red carpet interview, a video project, coverage of sporting or community events or a collaborative production.

Our long-term vision is to create a scalable platform where young people can develop real-world skills, discover their voice, and be introduced to future career paths in the arts, media, and beyond. We’re building confident communicators, creative thinkers, and future leaders—one experience at a time.

And yes… we laugh a lot along the way. COOL KIDS are funny!
