YOUTH AND FAMILY SERVICES

Youth and Family Services supports the community by providing a wide range of programs that are focused on the well-being of children and their families. This service collaborates with families, schools, and community partners to ensure that everyone receives the proper care and support. 

Youth and Family recognize that every child and family is unique, and each service is tailored to meet the specific needs of the child. There is no one-size-fits all solution. The programs’ goal is to reduce the various barriers to accessing mental health care, to promote stronger mental, physical, and social wellness across Hampton and Newport News.

We believe that each child deserves the best treatment possible and that this is best provided in their home community. We believe that parents and guardians of the child should be involved in all aspects of their child's care.

We treat each child, each family with respect and compassion and partner with them to meet their individual needs.

Youth and Family Services offers Case Management, Intensive Care Coordination, Outpatient Services, Mobile Crisis, Therapeutic Mentoring, Children's Behavioral Health Urgent Care Center, Juvenile Justice Services, Prevention, and School Based Education and Training.
