Hampton Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated with the Delta Research & Educational Foundation (DREF) have worked to make Hampton and the surrounding communities better through our service. We value community partnerships that allow us to continue to achieve the goals of our Sorority's Five Point Programmatic Thrust:
- Economic Development
- Educational Development
- International Awareness and Involvement
- Physical and Mental Health
- Political Awareness and Involvement
Our chapter proudly offers scholarships to Hampton City School Students and provides youth programs for middle school girls (Delta Academy), middle school boys (EMBODI), and high school girls (Delta GEMS). Our community outreach efforts include numerous Social Action events to educate voters; our Medical and Mental Health Wellness Fair, Fall Festival focusing on physical, financial, and mental health; Delta Dash 5K; Relay for Life; and St. Jude fundraising campaign. Our membership proudly serves the city of Hampton and collaborates with community partners to further our mission of service to the community.
