Kimberly's YVCHR Fundraiser

My name is Kimberly Moore. I am a wife and a mom of two wonderful young adults who are also YVCHR alums. 

In 2018, my children began serving with YVCHR at a Summer of Service session. As a mom, I loved that they were getting opportunities in the community that would have been difficult for me to provide. Both of my children have gone on to serve at their colleges, their campus ministries, their local parishes, and beyond. YVCHR planted the seed and now we are seeing it being nurtured and blossom into something beautiful - young people with a servant heart. 

A short time after my children began serving, I joined the YVCHR family as the Program Director until 2022. I hated to leave but I wasn't gone for long. I was drawn back to YVCHR last summer when I returned as the Director of Peninsula Programs. I wanted to help further the mission of YVCHR. The work that YVCHR does for the community is incredible but the work it does within the youth is EXTRAORDINARY. But we need YOUR help to continue building a better tomorrow for the community but most especially for the youth who need to feel like they have a voice and can make a difference. We want ALL youth to benefit from service to the community, but we can't do it alone. By supporting YVCHR, you are giving youth the opportunity to step outside of themselves, learn life and work skills in order to do great things for the community and our world.
