About Village Family / Event Parteez

Village Family is a grassroots nonprofit, and Event Parteez is its social impact partner.  Together, we turn compassion into action for children, families, and seniors across Hampton Roads.

Founded in 2014, Village Family began with no building, no major funding, and no large institutional backing—just a deep commitment to serve our community with love, dignity, and consistency. What started as a small grassroots effort has grown into a trusted source of food, clothing, hygiene care, baby essentials, outreach support, youth engagement, and community connection for neighbors facing hardship.

We believe no one should have to choose between survival and dignity. That is why our work goes beyond food. We support the whole family through programs and partnerships that promote health, education, wellness, encouragement, and greater stability. From feeding families and assisting seniors to uplifting youth and connecting residents with vital resources, Village Family meets real needs in real time.

Through Event Parteez, our social enterprise, we also create joyful, family-friendly events that celebrate local talent, bring people together, and help generate support for the mission. It is one more way we innovate, build community, and create lasting impact.

Village Family may be small, but our reach is powerful. We are the organization people call when they need help, when others have said no, and when the community needs a trusted partner on the ground.
