For almost twenty years, Garden of Hope has been dedicated to creating lasting change in our community by offering comprehensive programs that address the needs of those impacted by incarceration, poverty, and a lack of education. We believe in the power of hope and the impact of collective effort to build a brighter future for all.
Through unique and engaging programs like Second Chances and Grandparents in Schools, GOH has served thousands of individuals and families, helping to reduce recidivism, dropout rates and increase neighborhood development. Our Fatherhood Initiatives and Mothers on the Move programs have connected dozens of incarcerated individuals with their families and provided safe, stable connection spaces for families to reengage and support incarcerated individuals, easing the stress of reentry. Our Second Chances program provides comprehensive reentry services to hundreds of returning citizens every year. The ABE/GED program provides free education and testing to adults all year long. Leaders of Tomorrow is serving 3rd-8th graders with vital leadership and behavioral development programs in Title 1 public schools.
Our work has always been people focused and community driven. We continue our efforts to improve the quality of human life and to promote community betterment.
