Help us erase the shame & stigma of menstruation!

The goal of this fundraiser is to continue to provide period packs, pamphlets, and pants to students in every public elementary and middle school in Hampton Roads with possible expansion to private schools and/or high schools as well. Here is a breakdown of what the items are and why they are needed:

Period packs - A period pack is a makeup bag/pencil pouch filled with five items: a menstrual pad, a personal wipe, a small plastic baggy, a new pair of underwear, and an encouragement item such as a sticker, bracelet or card. 

Pamphlet - Nurses are offered an educational pamphlet to keep in the clinic to help provide important information to menstruating students about their periods.

We believe this is important information as many students start their period before they’ve had the related Family Life education.

Pants - Periods are not known for having great timing. A student may not be wearing a pad when they start and will most likely bleed through their underwear and/or pants.

Having spare pants available means a student can go back to class comfortably and confidently.
