At Dreams of Hope Foundation, we meet people at critical moments; when stability is uncertain and basic needs are not guaranteed. Our work is grounded in a simple truth: before healing can begin, people need food, safety, and support.

Every day, we provide hot meals on-site to individuals and families across our community. We serve breakfast and lunch to those in need, ensuring that no one who walks through our doors is turned away hungry. Each week, our food pantry extends that reach, providing consistent access to groceries for households facing food insecurity.

But our work does not stop there. We support individuals living with serious mental illness, chronic health conditions, and housing instability by providing access to shelter, mental health services, and critical resources that help stabilize their lives and prevent crisis.

Because of this commitment, our impact continues to grow:

• 17,375 individuals fed through our mobile food pantries
• 27,712 hot meals served in 2025
• 10,695 nights of shelter provided
• 8,244 hours of free mental health services delivered
• 422 prescriptions filled, supporting stability and continuity of care
• Tens of thousands of pounds of food distributed across Hampton Roads

Behind every number is a person; a mother, a father, a young adult, a neighbor; doing their best to navigate life’s challenges.
