Your donation will help purchase new playground equipment for students at the Center for Autism (Kiln Creek Elementary School campus).
Existing old and broken equipment
Currently, students only have one climbing structure, two spinning chairs, a stationary car, and a few other items. And they have no shade. The drums and water activity table are broken, which limits both sensory play and social opportunities.
A modern, inclusive play space would make a meaningful difference every single day!
New adaptive equipment
This new playground equipment will provide safe outdoor learning for students with autism, supporting sensory regulation, gross- and fine-motor development, communication, and social play. Accessible equipment and proper surfacing will allow play for students who currently cannot fully participate. Adaptive swings, calm/quiet zones, musical and tactile panels, and SHADE will reduce behavioral escalations, increase time on task after recess, and improve overall well-being and school attendance.
